Oro-Medonte is home to the Lake Simcoe Regional Airport (LSRA) which is jointly owned by the Township and its partner the City of Barrie.
With its modern, recently expanded airport facilities and 6,000 foot runway, the LSRA is able to serve a wide variety of aircraft ranging from small recreational and flight training aircraft to larger corporate, regional, and commercial aircraft.
The airport is fully serviced by the Canada Border Services Agency and maintains Commercial Port-of-Entry status, which allows for the accommodation of both international passengers and freight.
